May 9 2017- The Samoa Office of the Electoral Commission in collaboration with the  supported Samoa National Leadership Development Forum (SNLDF) is hosting a national Conference on “Democracy and Development in Samoa: The Role of Elections”. The objective of the event is to hold robust dialogue and raise awareness about Samoa’s development issues and challenges. There will be a series of presentations, guest speakers and panel discussions on issues about the role of elections in relation to democracy and development in Samoa.
